Indeed, that restores normal operation. I see only two differences now at 0x30 and 0x50. Both are changed to 0x00 in the good INI file.

Testing with no TFC.INI I was surprised to see default colors instead of ZTree's. The problem of course is that I no longer am configuring ZTree's colors with Alt-F10, but use ZCOLORS.INI instead.

This is no big deal, but it would be nice to mimic ZTree's behavior and use ZCOLORS.INI to override the ZTW.INI colors.

In any case, thanks for your work on TFC. It is much appreciated.
