Now that you've added looking for a \ZTree installation, I think it would be better if it was not the first! If someone, (like me), has an installation in both \Program Files\ZTree, and in \ZTree, then I think the \Program Files\ZTree should take priority, since it's the default.

So I would recommend the search order be:

\Program Files\ZTree
\ZTree
\ZTreeWin
\ZT
\ZTW
\ZTWin
