Two comments on installation process: 1. The install process requires four confirmation steps to start plus one to finish and, if required, you have to type in the target directory. If it is an update it stops to tell you that it has backed up the previous installation and waits for you to click to proceed. This makes it impossible to use in an automated PC build process. Are there command line switches that can bypass these confirmation steps and allow you to specify the target directory? 2. The install screen has a Show details button. If you click it it shows you the name of each file as it is copied. At least I think it does. It happens a bit too fast on my PC to see all the details. You can't enable it until the install process has started. Wouldn't it be better if this feature was enabled by default as some people like to see what is being installed on their PC? If not, is there a command line switch to turn it on? Andrew Watson | ||
