I like the idea of a pick list - more useful, I think, than a history list, but I think there are more urgent things to occupy Kim (eg http://www.ztw3.com/forum/forum_entry.php?id=112540)

Here is another hint that may not be well-known:

If you type an extension with the archive name eg 'file.rar' when compressing a list of files, ZTree will automatically switch to the first archiver that is registered for that extension.
