Mea Culpa! I guess I should review my config.
Fantastic that the feature already exists, and the default option is already configurable. Having said that, however, I still like my idea. And I think this just makes it all the easier to implement.
I could agree with those who might say that most of the time, especially after short operations, most people find the pause inconvenient and the information too often irrelevant, and so have disabled it. But, I think the flexibility to easily override the default on an ad hoc basis in some way as I suggested would simply further validate the existence of the feature and make it more useable.
