[Bug] File description with ? wildcard at end [Release]

I tried the following filespec mask: *s?.*

I assumed that this would give me a list of files where the penultimate character was an "s".

However, I also got those that ended with an "s" too.

This seems inconsistent with other uses of the question mark when used in masks for renaming files etc.

Is this a bug or a charming idiosyncrasy?!
